How to acquire PIPAC shares for Trans-TV

The Private Investment in Contemporary Art Program (PIPAC) allows independent contemporary artistic productions to be easily sponsored by individuals or small businesses. Through this program each sponsor becomes a shareholder-donator who proportionally participates in our box office shares as detailed in our .pdf file.

The Multimedia Theatrical Intervention, Trans-TV, raises its funds through PIPAC. In order to enroll one must acquire at least one of the one hundred shares available, before the opening of Trans-TV. Our season starts on January 2nd, 2009 and each Trans-TV share costs R$200,00 (two hundred Reais). We inform you that bank or credit card taxes may apply when acquiring shares from outside Brazil. These taxes are to be paid at the shareholder-donator's solely expense. These 100 shares allow us to open a reduced version of the spectacle. We are also inscribed under the federal and the state tax-deductible sponsorship programs. In the case of funds being raised under one of these two other programs, we'll deduct whatever has been raised through PIPAC from the budget as presented to them.

When you become a shareholder-donator, besides financially participating in the shares of the box-office, you also receive invitations for the season and are credited as a shareholder-donator both in the program of the play and in our website. Please, notice that we call the shareholder also a donator for we cannot guarantee the investment will be fully financially returned. For further information read the documents in the links below. We regret that the documents are available only in Portuguese but we also see the comments section as a good open source to answer possible doubts that may rise in this process.
